THEN, return to the Church at 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to receive the Holy Communion, or contact a priest to make individual arrangements. To cater for the spiritual needs of the faithful during this pandemic, the Diocese permits the laity to attend daily masses in fulfillment of the obligation of attending Sunday masses.
D. Please measure your body temperature before coming back. If you don’t feel well, stay home. If you are living with somebody in self-quarantine, stay home. Put on your surgical masks properly before entering the Church. Go through the temperature measurement passage. And clean your hands with sanitizer provided etc. before entering the Church.
E. To prevent the spread of virus of COVID-19, Holy Water will not be provided at the entrance and faithful will not need to kneel inside the Church. Video presentation will be deployed instead of missals and hymnals. Only the consecrated bread will be administered. Please also cleanse your hands afterwards. Offerings will be collected during parish announcements.
F. Other liturgical arrangements will be announced in due course.
As public masses resume under new arrangements, there will always be room for improvement. Please be inclusive and understanding. So please try to be tolerant and co-operation. Follow the instructions of ushers to maintain order.
