2020-05-30 恢復彌撒通告 Announcement: Resumption of Public Masses

聖葉理諾堂恢復彌撒通告

(1) 六月一日(一) 開始恢復平日彌撒上午七時十五分;
(2) 六月六日(六) 晚上八時半;(另加開中文一台晚上六時);
(3) 六月七日(主日)上午八時(英) 上午九時半及十一時(中) ;
(註:主日各台彌撒即時在四樓禮堂作直播。)

請大家留意下列事項:
(一) 參加彌撒的人數只可佔聖堂通常容納人數的一半,座位之間需有適當距離 (如需要照顧家人例外),必須遵照服務員指示。

(二) 玻璃房只限家庭組合之用,例如孩童需要家長陪伴及照顧。

(三) 如因聖堂容納人數已坐滿後,教友未能進堂參與彌撒,服務員將會指示教友前往四樓禮堂以收看直播形式參與彌撒;甚或在家中參與直播或祈禱,然後於下午十二時卅分或下午一時正兩個時間返回聖堂實領聖體(或按實際需要個別與神父安排)。在此疫情期間,教區特准以平日參與之彌撒視為對主日本份之滿全。

(四) 往聖堂之前,請教友在家先量度體溫;如感不適請勿外出。家中有「家居隔離」者同住亦不宜前來。進入聖堂前必須正確戴上口罩,經過體溫檢測之通道,並完成用消毒液清潔雙手等步驟。

(五) 為減免病菌傳播,此段期間,教友進堂時停蘸聖水,在聖堂毋須下跪。堂區會以視播代替經書或歌書,教友亦只會用手領方式領聖體(不送聖血);領聖體後請自行清潔雙手,奉獻則於堂區報告時段收取,之後請教友自行清潔雙手。

(六) 其他禮儀相關安排,屆時會在彌撒中再詳細講解。

恢復彌撒初期,安排上可能出現較混亂情況,請各位體諒及包容,並遵照服務員指示安守秩序。

Announcement: Resumption of Public Masses for St. Jerome’s Church

  1. With effect from June 1, daily masses in Chinese will be celebrated at 7:15a.m.
  2. Starting from June 6, Anticipated masses in Chinese will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. (additional) and 8:30 p.m. (scheduled);
  3. Starting from June 7, Sunday masses will be celebrated in English at 8:00 a.m. while Chinese masses at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. as usual. There will be simultaneous mass broadcast in the auditorium on the 4/F for these three masses.

When coming to the Church, please bear in mind the followings:


A. The Church is permitted to be half filled only. Seating must be sufficiently spaced out. Please be seated according to the instructions of ushers. There is no provision for standing, except for care-takers of family members.

B. The “Glass Room” is reserved for families with child-care needs.

C. In the event the Church is fully seated, parishioners will be diverted by ushers to the auditorium on the 4/F for simultaneous broadcast. Parishioners may also consider staying home to attend the mass through the Internet, or simply pray. THEN, return to the Church at 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to receive the Holy Communion, or contact a priest to make individual arrangements. To cater for the spiritual needs of the faithful during this pandemic, the Diocese permits the laity to attend daily masses in fulfillment of the obligation of attending Sunday masses.

D. Please measure your body temperature before coming back. If you don’t feel well, stay home. If you are living with somebody in self-quarantine, stay home. Put on your surgical masks properly before entering the Church. Go through the temperature measurement passage. And clean your hands with sanitizer provided etc. before entering the Church.

E. To prevent the spread of virus of COVID-19, Holy Water will not be provided at the entrance and faithful will not need to kneel inside the Church. Video presentation will be deployed instead of missals and hymnals. Only the consecrated bread will be administered. Please also cleanse your hands afterwards. Offerings will be collected during parish announcements.

F. Other liturgical arrangements will be announced in due course.

As public masses resume under new arrangements, there will always be room for improvement. Please be inclusive and understanding. So please try to be tolerant and co-operation. Follow the instructions of ushers to maintain order.
